People StyleWatch launched its first national ad campaign to coincide with the magazines October 2013 edition and immediately after the September edition featuring actress Nina Dobrev on the cover. That was People StyleWatchs biggest edition ever with 190 pages of advertising.Print ads with the slogans Get Your Style Rush and More Trend Less Spend are now to be seen in all the malls around the U.S.A. as well as in outdoor advertising, on bus shelters and atop taxis. The magazine also took over a digital billboard in New Yorks Times Square for two weeks.Publisher Stephanie Sladkus called it a unique moment for People StyleWatch as it celebrated its signature denim issue. As one of the most successful magazine launches to have occurred in the past decade, we really wanted to share this excitement with our loyal consumers while reaching new consumers alike, she said.Creators of the ad campaign were Time Inc.s Style & Entertainment Group, which came up with four different treatments with two different slogans: More Trend Less Spend refers to the way People StyleWatch reports on super trendy yet really affordable fashions, while Get Your Style Rush is all about the magazines mission of showcasing an impressive array of fashion and beauty products, prices and sizes, along with tips on where to buy them and how to use them.
