Geoscape, a provider of business information technology, data and analytic applications, announced the establishment of its Research Services Unit, with Raul Lopez leading the team.With the creation of Geoscape Research, companies can access a whole range of data, analysis and research technologies to acquire comprehensive access to the emerging majority of consumers.Lopez, with more than 34 years in the industry, joins Geoscape from Phoenix Marketing International, where he was head of its multicultural unit. As VP of Research Services, Lopez and his team will be in charge of providing a wide range of primary research services. With Lopez on the research team will be Jeronima Pilar as senior client adviser.”I’ve known and respected Geoscape for many years” said Raul Lopez. “America’s increasingly diverse population necessitates responsive changes and greater sophistication in the marketing research practices of US corporations, and Geoscape is uniquely qualified to provide this”. For his part, Geoscape founder and CEO Cesar Melgoza noted that “Geoscape has provided research services for many years, but we have done so in response to specific client requirements such as consumer segmentation and to fill knowledge gaps – never leading with primary research. Now our business model has evolved to include automated market intelligence plus a range of services that build upon each other. We feel we can really add value for our clients using a combined analytic approach”.
