Colgate-Palmolive y la HDA lanzan la campaña Mes de la salud bucal enfocada en la educación dental de las familias hispanas

Colgate-Palmolive has joined forces with the Hispanic Dental Association (HDA) to launch a campaign dubbed Oral Health Month to educate Hispanic families in the United States about the importance of adequate dental care under the slogan “Unite for a World of Healthy Smiles” (Únete por un Mundo de Sonrisas Saludables).“At Colgate, we care about improving oral health among Hispanic Americans” says Carla Kelly, general manager of U.S. multicultural marketing at Colgate-Palmolive. “Our Oral Health Month campaign allows us to promote the practice of healthy oral care habits. By continuing our partnership with the HDA, we are able to leverage our mutual expertise and resources to reach these communities with the encouragement and information they need”.According to the HDA, almost 40 percent of Hispanic adults live with an untreated oral ailment – almost twice the percentage of non-Hispanic whites – and probably twice as many Hispanic children have untreated cavities compared with Anglo children.“The Hispanic Dental Association is proud to join Colgate in celebrating this year’s Oral Health Month, an annual campaign that supports our organization’s mission to improve oral care among Hispanics,” says Maritza Morell, president of the Hispanic Dental Association. “We are inspired by the enthusiasm of this campaign, and look forward to educating families across the U.S. and to helping our sponsored dental clinics, one pledge at a time”.For more information about the campaign, visit {Colgate;www.Colgate.com/OHM}.
