Norberto Zylberberg, senior VP and creative director of development at LatinWorks, shared his impressions with PRODU after hearing that the Hispanic agency took a Silver Film Lion in one of the most prestigious categories of the festival. The winning piece is called Pool, made for the non-profit WRAAC, and was created by the duo of Pablo Maldonado and Jose H. Hernandez.I believe that at this Cannes, the jury prize is worth 150 percent, in that sense I believe that the big winners of the agency are H. and Pablo, who gave 150 percent of themselves so the agency could win those two Lions. We can’t forget Alberto and Personal Music, and how the whole team gave so much, and Rodrigo Garcia Saiz & John Barreiro of Boxer Films who gave their all, Zylberberg said. This new prize is the agencys second Lion at Cannes 2013. The first was in the Radio category with a commercial called Maduro (Mature) for Cine Las Americas, which snagged a Bronze. This festival will go down in history because it raised the level of the Hispanic market incredibly, and because of the level of the jury, and because nobody had to justify anything, and I think that everything that was won was because of an incredible effort, the creative said.
