Cannes Festival announces final dates for receiving entries

The 60th annual Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity to be held next June 16-22 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, announced that its final date for receiving entries for the Creative Effectiveness category is March 1, while the other categories will close March 28.Meanwhile, organizers confirmed that winners of all categories will be announced during the same week of the festival on different dates. On Monday, June 17 the winners will be announced for the Creative Effectiveness, Direct, PR, and Promo & Activation categories. On Tuesday, June 18, those for Innovation, Media, Mobile and Outdoor will get the nod. On Wednesday, June 19, Cyber, Design, Press, as well as the Radio winners will be made public, while on Saturday, June 22, the winners will be announced for Branded Content & Entertainment, Film, Film Craft, as well as Titanium & Integrated.All entries in all categories can be seen in projections at the Palais des Festivals and at “interactive kiosks,” providing delegates with a chance to view more than 30,000 pieces of creative advertising and communications from around the world.The festival will offer seminars, forums, screenings of the best commercials at a global level, exhibitions, parties and the awards ceremonies.For more information, {see;http://www.canneslions.com/awards}
