10 de enero de 2013

La publicidad digital ha sido de gran ayuda para los anunciantes y su conexión con los consumidores

Wrapping up our Special Coverage: The Best of 2012 at PRODU Hispanic Publicidad, we showcase the increase of online advertising billings across the country. As expected, this growth is motivated by the benefits that online media offer advertisers by getting them closer to consumers, and by the consequent business boom they have had from the acceptance their advertising by the online audience.According to a survey taken by PaperG with a sample of advertising sales executives in the United States, almost 86 percent of digital ad publishers will offer advertisers mobile display ads as part of their advertising inventory in the next three months. That represents almost 10 percent less than the number that will offer advertisers online display ads.A report by the Interactive Advertising Bureau, or IAB, shows that online advertising billings in the United States reached $9.26 billion in the third quarter of 2012, the most profitable in history. The figures provided by this study show an increase of 18 percent over the $7.8 billion in the same period of 2011.Randall Rothenberg, president of IAB, put it this way: “These historic investments in interactive point to the strong results that marketers are receiving from digital marketing. It is a highly effective medium for interacting and engaging consumers, who are no longer passive, but are active participants in contemporary media online, through social media, and on-the-go with mobile.”
